Privacy Policy

Event organizers supply attendee information from their own booking or ticketing platform, usually as a guest list upload. You may also add or correct your own details on an event's matching page.

Organizers and team members create accounts to use HuMatched, so we do process their personal data — name, email address, password credentials, and basic activity such as sign-ins and the events they manage. We use it to run their account, secure it, and support them. Organizer emails are not shown to attendees.

We use the information an organizer provides, plus anything you add yourself, to rank attendees against one another and show you the people you're most likely to want to meet at that event. We also keep a record of your profile so future events you attend can prefill your answers.

• Matching is anonymous. Before any profile is sent to an AI model, we strip out names, email addresses, phone numbers, and social handles, and replace them with a temporary reference code.
• We do not use your personal data to train any model of our own. We build no internal models on your information.
• The AI step only ranks and explains matches. Real names and links are reattached in your browser after the model has responded.

Matching and the Huey concierge run on Google Gemini models, accessed through our AI gateway. Anonymized profile content is processed by that provider under their own privacy policy and terms. If we add other providers, we'll update this page.

Other attendees may see your name, role, industry, shared topics, and the professional links you provide (such as LinkedIn or Instagram). We never show your email address to other attendees.

We keep attendee records so organizers can measure their events and so your profile carries over between events. To have your information removed, contact the event organizer or email us and we'll delete it.
